She works in photo, sculpture and found media to  create DIY pieces. Kale'a grew up in Portland, Oregon. Her interests are DIY/Craft, materiality, angst and consumerism.

She is currently in her first year of her Masters' Program at University of Washington,  Seattle, WA - New Genres.

Received her BFA in Art, concentration in Jewelry & Metalsmithing at University of Oregon, Eugene OR.
